In what was perhaps the biggest NFL offseason move, Saquon Barkley is a Philadelphia Eagle officially, and as he took the field for his first practice with the team, the video has since gone super viral. New York Giants fans should look away as Saquon is now coming for them this season.
On Wednesday, the Eagles have now started their official training camp, and the team posted a video of their new star running back taking the field. Barkley was seen high fiving fans on his route to the field, and Eagles fans are looking very excited for the new addition to the team.
Video Of Saquon Barkley Going Viral
Barkley is joining his new team after 6 season in New York. Barkley was the face of the team since he was drafted and it will be very strange for Giants fans to see him in green this year. Barkley signed with the NFC East rival in free agency on a three year $37.75 million deal. Barkley is more than deserving of that contract and is arguably the best in the league at his position outside of Christian McCaffery.

NFL fans got a bit of inside look on how things went down between the Giants and Barkley with HBO’s Hard Knocks. The documentary showed haw the team allowed Barkley to test the market and then wind up with their arch rivals.
Barkley went on the Scoop City podcast and he was candid with Dianna Russini about how he was “fed up” with the Giants organization after that call specifically:
“I kind of felt like it was a little disrespectful, to be honest. Because it’s kind of like a slap in the face,” Barkley said, via NFL.com. “It was over after that phone call.”
Since Barkley has come over from New York to their arch rival, his perception of the Eagles has changed drastically. Barkley will never stop thinking that Eagles fans are crazy, but now he views their passion in a positive and not negative way.
“When you’re on the Giants fan, you’re like, ‘Woah these motherf*****s are insane,'” Barkley told Russini. “On this side, you’re like, they bleed this. This is Philly … We lose on Sunday, they’re having a bad week.”
Barkley and the organization cannot wait for this upcoming season. The team will begin their journey in Brazil, and then will be back home for the fans in week 2.
“I can’t wait,” Barkley said. “I’m itching. I can’t wait for camp. I can’t wait for the season. I can’t wait for that first game.”
