The end of the Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers NFC Championship Game was ugly. Brock Purdy returned to the game after injuring his elbow since Josh Johnson was ruled out with a concussion.
The 49ers’ hopes went out the window with Purdy barely able to throw the ball, and tensions boiled over.
With just a few minutes remaining in the game, 49ers OT Trent Williams got into it and threw down Eagles safety K’Von Wallace, resulting in a huge brawl that saw a couple of players get ejected.

Both Wallace and Williams were ejected from the game and we will likely see a lengthy list of fines being handed down from the NFL league office in the next few days.

It also brought back memories of Williams’ time in Washington when he got into it with the Seattle Seahawks.

The Eagles are headed for the Super Bowl with a lopsided victory over the depleted 49ers. What a tough way to lose the game, but Trent Williams might regret that decision once the league office hands out some disciplinary action.
