    Ja’Marr Chase can catch footballs

Ja’Marr Chase is having no problems with the size of the NFL football at this year’s training camp. The second-year Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver made an impressive catch again this week. This play should have Bengals fans excited for the season.

Chase went against cornerback Eli Apple in drills recently. He schooled the veteran defensive playmaker.

That’s a sick catch by Chase. Chase is going to need to be the leader of the Bengals’ wide receivers corps this season.  He makes it look easy with moves like that. Apple is no slouch in the secondary. Apple has made great work out of defending passes. But even an experienced cornerback like Apple is struggling to contain an impact player like Chase.

Chase is going to be a beast.

Chase was stellar in his rookie campaign last season.  He had a case to be the NFL’s Rookie of the Year. He had 1,455 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns. Those are insane numbers by a rookie.

If he takes another step in his second season with quarterback Joe Burrow, watch out. The two excelled in college together before making an epic run last season that got the Bengals to the Super Bowl.
