The Wake Forest Demon Deacons hope to see drastic improvement from their secondary after a disastrous year against opposing quarterbacks, wide receivers, and tight ends. Wake Forest’s secondary allowed 26.7 receptions per game, a 70.3% completion percentage, 277.8 passing yards per game, and 1.9 passing touchdowns per game. The Demon Deacons allowed the most receptions, the 2nd-highest completion percentage, the 8th-most passing yards, and tied for the 17th-most passing touchdowns per game among 134 FBS schools.
Concerned with their defensive back depth, the team landed a talented corner.
