Von Miller has already had a great career before he came to the Buffalo Bills. He won a Super Bowl with Denver and Los Angeles and is looking to bring Buffalo their first. In a recent interview, Miller was asked about his career and he said that the Bills are definitely his last stop.
Buffalo Bills: Von Miller Talks End Of Career
This is not to say that he is contemplating retirement immediately. However, he clearly has thought about when he is going to be done playing football.
“When I’m leaving Buffalo, I’m done. 100 percent,” Miller said. “I’m supposed to be here until I’m 39. I’m not playing for another team. Buffalo is definitely my last stop. I don’t like to talk about retirement yet, but I think it’s safe to say Buffalo will definitely be the last team I play for.”
His contract runs through 2027 which gives him plenty of chances to make it three Super Bowls on his career. With quarterback Josh Allen under center, the Bills should be in contention for the next four years meaning Miller will always be on a team in the mix barring major injury.
Can The Bills Breakthrough?
The AFC is a tough conference. Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs will always be in the mix. The Bengals have had recent success and then there are a whole bunch of teams that are looking to contend. The job isn’t an easy one but the Bills have the quarterback position figured out. The rest of the roster is also full of talent on both sides of the ball. They need to have a season where they play well throughout and get lucky. Maybe the Chiefs get knocked out in the playoffs before having to play the Bills. Something like that would make their run a little easier.
Von Miller is already a legend and if he were to bring a Super Bowl to Buffalo, he would be a local hero. The Bills look to fill out the roster through the draft on Thursday.
