With the NFL offseason underway, Minnesota Vikings wideout Justin Jefferson was caught showing love for Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves as they battled the top-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals.

After free agency and the 2025 NFL Draft wrapped up, things have remained fairly quiet for stars like Justin Jefferson. With minicamp underway and training camp fast approaching, there’s little for Jefferson to stress about. As one of the top receivers in the league, his role is secure and his contract is set. For now, all that’s left is to enjoy some well-earned rest before the new NFL season kicks off.

Frequently associated with Anthony Edwards thanks to their electrifying games and status as a franchise cornerstone, Jefferson’s back-to-back appearance with him on the ESPN broadcast served as a clear reminder to Minnesota fans of the elite talent leading their teams today—and for years to come.

Like Edwards, Jefferson recently signed a second deal with Minnesota—both setting new market standards. With long-term futures now secured, each star hopes to bring home a championship, provided their front offices build the right supporting cast.

Born in St. Rose, Louisiana, and a former LSU standout, Justin Jefferson could have easily backed the New Orleans Pelicans. Instead, he’s thrown his full support behind Minnesota, earning the love of local fans in the process.

His regular courtside appearances during the Timberwolves’ playoff push show how deeply he’s embedded himself in the Twin Cities’ sports culture. If Minnesota books a trip to the NBA Finals, expect Jefferson to be right there, proudly repping his city from the front row.

The 25-year-old stands among the top players in Vikings history. A four-time Pro Bowler and prospective Olympian, he’s ready to chase a new goal. On Tuesday, the NFL approved pro athletes competing in flag football at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, and Jefferson is excited to take part. He isn’t the only one interested—running back Aaron Jones has expressed enthusiasm, and cornerback Byron Murphy Jr. is gaining recognition for his defensive abilities.

Jefferson and his Vikings teammates wouldn’t be in this spot if the International Olympic Committee hadn’t approved flag football. The NFL teamed up with the International Federation of American Football (IFAF) to lobby the IOC, highlighting the sport’s rising global popularity.
