The New York Jets took a tough loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Monday Night Football. The offense had a tough time getting momentum going the entire night while the defense could not stop the high-powered 49ers offense. New York even benched star quarterback Aaron Rodgers with a few minutes left in the fourth quarter due to the struggles on offense. While the win for San Francisco was pretty decisive, Jets fans claim the game was rigged after a video went viral.
New York Jets Fans Call Game ‘Rigged’
While driving down the field late in the fourth quarter to get back within one score from a tie, Jets running back Breece Hall caught a screen pass from Rodgers and appeared to cross the first down marker. However, the refs called him short of the marker, costing the team’s drive to stall out, and fans were not happy about the call.
So u what’s the point of a challenge when there’s replay assist
Also where was replay assist for gen breece hall should be first down #jets— Dannygamz (@dannygamz) September 10, 2024
@Jets got screwed on 2nd & 3rd down plays.
Breece Hall got 1st down with no review and G. Wilson’s was a catch, his heel hit first. 🤷🏾♂️
Let’s Go @49ers!!— Terrell Owens (@terrellowens) September 10, 2024
Breece Hall had the 1st down earlier? Why not challenge it?

Can someone at @NFLOfficiating explain to me why they went back and took away that Jets first down, but didn’t give the jets the first down when Breece Hall clearly got it on the play before??? @NFL please?

Was It The Right Call?
San Francisco won the game 32-19 for their first win of the season, even though there were several controversial calls throughout the game in their favor. Do you think Hall had the first down, or did the refs make the correct call on the field?
