The UNC football team has hit a new low this season as fans have left the stadium during a terrible route to James Madison.
The Tar Heels allowed the James Madison Dukes to score 53 points in the first half of play with four forced turnovers. UNC could not get anything going on the defensive side of the ball and allowed the Dukes defense to score as well.
UNC came into the game having to start their third-string quarterback Jacolby Criswell against the Dukes. The Tar Heels have now had two shocking injuries in their quarterback room, but have remained flawless with a 3-0 record up to this point.
While there is still more football to be played, it does not seem like the Tar Heels will be able to pull off a comeback.

The Tar Heels fans sure have not shown much optimism for the second half of play as the crowd is nearly empty. The UNC football fans came out strong for the first quarter, by after the Dukes scored 25-points, many fans began to exit the stadium.

The UNC football team has not looked good on either side of the football against the Dukes as the bloodbath continues. The Tar Heels not only have turned the ball over four times but have allowed a blocked punt touchdown and an interception return touchdown as well.
UNC Football Struggling to Keep James Madison Dukes Contest Competitive
The UNC football team has allowed over 400 yards of total offense in the first half of play, which has been the biggest reason why the Dukes are running away with the game.
The Tar Heels cannot get a stop whether it is through the air or on the ground, and the Dukes continue to attack. James Madison set a program record after recording 53 points in the first half and scored seven touchdowns while doing so.
For the UNC football staff, running the ball is going to be key in the second half as a win is likely not going to occur. The Tar Heels should focus on feeding Omarion Hampton and running the ball with Criswell in order to develop some sort of offensive momentum. The rest of the game should be a learning experience for the UNC football team as they work out the kinks on both sides of the football.
Wide receiver Kobe Paysour is also going to be key for the UNC football team moving forward as he can offer plenty to the team. Paysour had previously not seen any action for the Tar Heels outside of one 16-yard reception but already has three against the Dukes.
