Former Houston Texans superstar J.J. Watt was one of many people who was watching the College World Series Game 2 matchup between the LSU Tigers and the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers. LSU led the series over Coastal Carolina 1-0 entering the matchup.

During the bottom of the first-inning, Coastal Carolina manager Kevin Schnall was ejected for arguing balls and strikes. Not only was Schnall ejected, but first base coach Matt Schilling was also ejected. Umpire Angel Campos was ejected from the game and a lot of people were absolutely unhappy with the way the umpires handled the coaches in this situation.
Former Houston Texans Star J.J. Watt and Others Have Reactions To Ejections In the Game

Watt and other people took to social media about how Coastal Carolina coaches were ejected during the first inning against LSU. Campos had thin skin in the past with the MLB, and he showed it off once again during the College World Series. This is what the former Texans star and other fans had to say about the ridiculous ejection:

Could be the last time CC gets there for awhile..elimination game..I defend umps more than most..but you can’t call the first pitch a strike..that’s silliness
Just warn the manager between the innings to stay in his dugout and maybe tell him you missed a couple..

Sad. Should be about the kids playing and the college they represent, not the blue behind the plate.

Props to him for sharing his side of it.
I know a lot has been said about robot umps, but college sports has to make officiating a full time gig. Especially in this new era of revenue sharing. At minimum, umpires have to get better training overall. At every single level. https://t.co/dddnzFbveX

This wouldn’t have happened with robot umpires

There are also fans who are calling for robot umpires not only at the MLB level but also the college level of baseball as well. At some point, there will probably be robot umpires. What Watt and others talked about on Sunday during the College World Series is why the sport of baseball needs robot umpires as soon as possible. LSU happened to win the game over Coastal Carolina 5-3 and the Tigers won its eighth national title in school history.
