Now a little over the halfway mark of the UFL season, teams have begun positioning themselves for a playoff push. The Birmingham Stallions are in first place in the USFL conference and the St. Louis Battlehawks are in first place in the XFL conference. On Sunday, May 12, we have two massive contests that can prove pivotal as we creep closer to the playoffs.
UFL Week 7: Michigan Panthers @ DC Defenders
Game Lines: Defenders -1.5; Total: 43

The 4-2 Michigan Panthers will travel to Washington DC to take on the 3-3 DC Defenders in what should be a tightly contested matchup. The Panthers are looking to remain in second place in the USFL conference as the Defenders look to make up ground on the San Antonio Brahmas and move into second place in the XFL conference.
The Michigan Panthers have one of the best defenses in the UFL led by their solid play against the run. This will bode well for them in this matchup as the DC Defenders have struggled to move the ball on the ground consistently.
The DC Defenders have struggled this season on the defensive side of the ball and that has hurt them tremendously this season. The Panthers who have a decent rushing attack, led by running back Wes Hills, should have the advantage in this game.
The Michigan Panthers will look to make this an old-school smash-mouth football game, stopping the run, and pounding the rock on offense. If they do so, they should have no trouble winning this game.
UFL Week 7: San Antonio Brahmas @ Houston Roughnecks
Game Lines: Brahmas -3.5; Total: 38.5

The 4-2 San Antonio Brahmas travel to Houston to take on the 1-5 Houston Roughnecks at Rice Stadium in Houston. The Brahmas look to build upon their strong season as one of the surprise teams of the UFL. The Roughnecks on the other hand look to turn their season around after struggling this season.
The biggest struggle for the Houston Roughnecks has been their ability to protect their quarterback Reid Sinnett. That struggle has led the Roughnecks to have one of the worst offenses in the XFL. Unfortunately, they aren’t getting any help this week as they take on the Brahmas who have one of the best pass rushes in the UFL, led by outside linebacker Wyatt Ray.
The Roughnecks have played decent defense this year and should be able to hold their own for most of the game. However, the Brahmas enter this game with one of the best rushing attacks in the UFL and will look to wear down the Roughnecks’ defense. San Antonio Brahmas running back John Lovett is second in rushing yards in the UFL and will look to add to that total in this matchup.
The Brahmas will look for their defense to create turnovers sparked by their solid pass rush as this game rolls on to fuel their offense in a matchup they should win.
A two-leg parlay of Michigan Panthers moneyline (+105) and San Antonio Brahmas moneyline (-175) gives odds of +222. (Meaning a $100 bettor would win $222).
