The Miami Dolphins are home to one of the most explosive and dynamic players in the NFL: wide receiver Tyreek Hill. Selected in the fifth round of the 2016 NFL Draft, Hill remains one of the NFL’s top offensive players, utilizing his elite speed and agility to outmaneuver defenders and score remarkable touchdowns. Hill, who achieved a 6.70-second time in the 60-meter event in the 25-29 age division of the USA Track and Field Masters Indoor Championships in 2023, ranks not only as one of the fastest players in the NFL but also as one of the quickest individuals worldwide.
On Monday, Hill sat down with NFL personality Kay Adams, with the latter pressing the speedy wideout over the controversial statements made by US Olympian Noah Lyles. The gold medal winner in the 100-meter at the 2024 Paris Olympics, Lyles called out North American sports for labeling themselves world champions despite playing on one continent. Hill took aim at Lyles, ridiculing the sprinter for his takes on the NFL on the heels of finishing third in the 200-meter dash last week.
Miami Dolphins: Tyreek Hill Targets Olympics Great Noah Lyles
During a segment of The Up & Adams Show with host Kay Adams, the FanDuel Sportsbook media entertainer spoke with six-time Pro Bowler and Miami Dolphins superstar Tyreek Hill. When pressed about Olympian Noah Lyles’ comments regarding Super Bowl champs not being considered world champions, Hill did not hide his thoughts regarding the sprinter’s opinions.

“Noah Lyles can’t say nothing after what just happened to him. I feel like that’s like horse radish. To do that and say that we were not world champions of our sport says a lot. Like, c’mon buh, just speak on what you know about, and that’s track.”
Hill points at Lyles’ bronze medal finish in the 200-meter dash during the 2024 Paris Olympics last week. Lyles collapsed on the track following the race before being taken off in a wheelchair. Lyles later confirmed he had COVID-19, which affected his performance. Per Yahoo Sports, Hill owns a record of 10.19 in the 100-meter dash dating back to high school. Meanwhile, Lyles owns a personal best 9.79 100-meter dash. Nevertheless, Hill believes he could beat Lyles in a race.
“I would beat Noah Lyles. I would beat Noah Lyles. I wouldn’t beat him by a lot, but I would beat Noah Lyles. And guess what, when I beat him, I’m going to put on a COVID mask and let him know I mean business because I do mean business.”
Tyreek Hill: Elite Speed
During his West Alabama Pro Day in 2016, wide receiver Tyreek Hill ran a ludicrous 4.29 40-yard dash, elevating him from potential undrafted status to becoming a fifth-round selection by the Kansas City Chiefs. According to NFL Next Gen stats, Hill owns the fastest speed clocked since tracking began in 2016, hitting a top speed of 23.34 miles per hour. Hill is not just an athletic phenom but one of the best offensive skill players in the NFL.
Hill spent his first six seasons with the Chiefs from 2016 to 2021, earning first-team All-Pro honors thrice. The five-foot-ten, 190-pound pass catcher accumulated 479 receptions, 6,630 receiving yards, and 56 touchdowns during that span, with Kansas City and Hill winning the Super Bowl in 2019. Hill made the Pro Bowl in all six seasons with Kansas City. The Chiefs traded Hill to the Miami Dolphins before the 2022 season, where he spent the past two years. Hill has recorded an NFL-best 3,509 receiving yards since 2022 while earning MVP votes each season.
