Trevor Lawrence was apparently battling an unknown illness during his most recent game against the Raiders, which was revealed much later on by his wife Marissa. After the Jaguars brilliantly defeated the Raiders, Marissa took to Instagram to share that she and her husband had been sick all night and it was a wonder that the QB managed to make it to the game and win it after all.
Lawrence did not show any signs of being ill throughout the game, even going on to score twice for the Jags. The team did announce that their star signal-caller would play with an illness before the game, but did not reveal as to what it is.

“I couldn’t be more proud of Trev. We both were up alllllll night so sick and I’ve been down baddd today I have no clue how he went and played a game… much deserved win. It’s the small things people don’t know or always see but I have to brag on him because this is just crazy!!! You’re so strong and such a good leader. Proud to be in your corner.” Marissa shared on her Instagram Story post.
Trevor Lawrence later on admitted to reporters that his health felt much better after the win against the Raiders. The signal-caller also remarked that he hoped for some well-deserved rest before the next matchup against Houston.
Trevor Lawrence’s Teammate, Travis Hunter, Also Did Not Play
Trevor Lawrence might have been able to play against the Raiders despite being ill, but his teammate, Travis Hunter was unable to do so. Hunter injured his knee in the last game and will have to wait for some more time before he makes it back to the field.

In the meantime, the Jaguars are definitely in good hands with Trevor Lawrence. Lawrence has been desperately trying to stay away from injuries this season after a couple messed with his campaign in the previous year. Despite all this, the QB managed to fall sick recently and had to play with the illness.
Trevor Lawrence did play pretty unimpressively in the first couple of games this season, which earned him a ‘Trevor Mid Lawrence’ nickname. However, the playmaker has been able to easily turn this around in the last few showdowns, going to display his true mettle in the most recent game.
