Trevon Diggs, cornerback for the Dallas Cowboys, might not be seen in action as of yet as he continues to rehab from his knee surgery which he underwent earlier this year. Diggs was originally reported to be healing pretty well and also training lightly. However, according to a recent article by The Athletic’s John Machota, Diggs’ return to the active roster is still in question.

Diggs and the Cowboys have been involved in some drama as of late after the cornerback received a pretty hefty fine for choosing to rehab elsewhere and not use the team’s facilities. In fact, team reps remarked that Diggs’ recovery could have been much faster if he did his rehab in their facilities, rather than some other place.
“Cornerback is an area of concern. No one knows when Trevon Diggs (knee) will be able to return. Entering camp, there was belief that rookie Shavon Revel Jr. (knee) would start practicing at some point in California, but that timetable remains uncertain,” John Machota wrote in his article in the New York Times on Monday.

Trevon Diggs’ injury status did get reactions out of both Jerry Jones and his son, Stephen Jones. The senior Jones admitted to reporters that Diggs did not do proper rehabilitation after injuring his knee back in the 2023 season, which was the reason why he is on the PUP list right now.
Trevon Diggs Defends Micah Parsons After Trade Request
Trevon Diggs definitely knows what it feels to be treated unfairly by your own team management and therefore was every bit sympathetic when his teammate, linebacker Micah Parsons, put in a trade request. Parsons has been asking for a major contract extension with the Cowboys for quite some time now, but the team has not budged in any way.
Shocking everyone, an exasperated Parsons requested a trade from the Cowboys on Friday. Numerous players and teammates immediately came out in support of Parsons, including injured cornerback Trevon Diggs. Diggs reposted a GIF from the Will Smith & Martin Lawrence movie ‘Bad Boys for Life’ and wrote “7|11 4L” referring to his jersey number and that of Micah Parsons.

Micah Parsons’ treatment by the Dallas Cowboys has been immensely called out on social media by both fans and sports analysts, who feel that the linebacker definitely deserves the money he is asking for. At the same time, there are many who still feel that team owner Jerry Jones will come back with an extension right before the regular season kicks off.
