Trevon Diggs, cornerback for the Dallas Cowboys, has been in the news for the last day or two after team owner Jerry Jones criticized him for his injuries and his rehab process. Diggs, who underwent a chondral tissue graft surgery earlier this January, had to miss the offseason activities with the team as a result of his rehab.

However, since he has decided to rehab away from the team’s facility, Diggs will be taking a hefty pay-cut from his salary. Diggs took to his X account some time back to justify his cause and remarked that the Dallas Cowboys management, including team owner Jerry Jones, knew only too well where he was at the whole time since he has been in constant communication with his therapist.
“They knew where I was rehabbing at. Was in full Communication with the therapist whole step of the way. I am not behind on my recovery process.” Trevon Diggs tweeted through his X account, calling out the Dallas Cowboys.

Jerry Jones not only took shots at Trevon Diggs’ rehab process, but also accused the talented cornerback for not taking his rehab seriously last year which apparently led to his second knee injury which eventually required surgery this year.

Diggs faced injuries since the 2023 NFL season when he injured his ACL during the team’s practice which led to him being benched for the entire year. However, Diggs injured his knee in the previous football season which led to the surgery.
Trevon Diggs’ Teammate, Micah Parsons, Vents Frustration On Contract Delay
Meanwhile, Trevon Diggs is not the Dallas Cowboys player who has been hurt by Jerry Jones’ actions and comments. Cowboys linebacker, Micah Parsons, has been at the deep end of numerous hurtful remarks by Jones over the last couple of months as he eyes a contract extension before the regular season kicks off. However, Parsons has not only not seen any action on the deal, but has also heard brutal remarks by Jones who basically called him a risky player.

In the ongoing training camp with the Dallas Cowboys, Micah Parsons was asked yet again by reporters about his contract extension, to which the linebacker vented that he wished that he was “taken care of” by the team just as other players have been taken care of by other teams. Still, Parsons has been giving his all to the training, showing that he is very much worthy of a juicy deal with the team.
