Ohio State had some big-time news this week when Erin Dunston, Director of On-Campus Recruiting, decided she would leave the program for their arch-rivals, Michigan. The Buckeyes saw running back coach Tony Alford do the same thing earlier this offseason, and now they lose another important staff member to their biggest rival. A rumor going around the internet, backed up by some credible sources, said that Ryan Day cussed out Dunston for leaving and going to Michigan.
Rumor Has It Ryan Day Was Not Happy With Dunston Leaving Ohio State
This week, a message thread from the 247sports insider site stated that Ryan Day was unhappy with Dunston leaving, which turned him inside out. Sam Webb from Michigan Insider stated he received multiple phone calls that Day cussed her out and had her escorted from the building.
Zach Smith, former Ohio State wide receiver coach, also stated on his Menace 2 Sports podcast that he heard Day cussed out Dunston.
Here is the podcast from Thursday, and the clip starts around the one-hour and two-minute mark.
Of course, Ohio State fans will react crazy to this, and this is what they had to say.
Good on Day tbh.

If Ryan day cussed her out Okay good finding out multiple of your staffers are rats and don’t take this rivalry seriously can stress out a dude. If he didn’t scam Webb strikes again.

Hearing Ryan Day said mean things to a staff member who chose to work for the rival program instead.
