The Cleveland Browns had a remarkable 2023 season after they lost star player after star player to injury and still found a way to reach the playoffs. Still, with most of their players returning and coming back from injuries like running back Nick Chubb and quarterback Deshaun Watson, the Browns should have no issue reaching the postseason once again. Still, at the moment, they are not favored to reach mid-January football.

Pro Football Focus posted on X on Monday a picture of Watson and showed they have the Browns at +135 to make the playoffs.
It seems a little low since Cleveland has a Top-Five roster and one of the best head coaches in the NFL, but they do have a question mark at quarterback with Watson, who has only seen the field 12 times in a Cleveland Browns uniform.

If Watson can stay healthy and play like he did while he was with the Houston Texans, there is no reason why the Browns won’t make the postseason, but if he plays like he did the first two seasons in Cleveland, the Browns will have a hard time making the playoffs.

According to the website legalsportsreport.com, the Browns have the 11th-best overall odds from all the betting markets to make the playoffs out of the AFC, with the Kansas City Chiefs, Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Houston Texans, Buffalo Bills, New York Jets, Miami Dolphins, Los Angeles Chargers, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Indianapolis Colts all ahead of them.
It is silly that teams like the Colts, who have a young quarterback in Anthony Richardson, and the Chargers, who have a new head coach in Jim Harbaugh, lost most of their skill position players in Mike Williams, Keenan Allen, and Austin Ekeler would be favored over the Browns.
The Browns know the national media is always out to get them, and they will use this as motivation to prove all the doubters wrong once again.
