New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs and artist Cardi B are officially dating, and they got a comparison from Jason Whitlock to another NFL couple.
In a recent episode of his program “Fearless,” Jason Whitlock talked about the recently confirmed dating rumors of wide receiver Stefon Diggs and artist Cardi B, which he likened to the relationship of pop superstar Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.
“You know, part of me just talking it out loud, I’m acting like I’m perplexed and then I’m acting like I’ve never done the exact same thing as Stefan Diggs and I have,” Whitlock said. “So, he’s just young and dumb. And this is what young and dumb people do.”
“He doesn’t care about football at this point, I don’t think, at all. Between the yacht parties and looking like he’s passing out drugs to young girls, he’s just all into what football can do for him. He’s not into chasing being a great football player anymore. The reporting is saying the Patriots are not going to drop Stefon Diggs, but I think they actually should.”
“This is the ghetto version of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift,” he added. “This is the malt liquor of celebrity couples. And at some point, someone probably will play the race card, ‘you celebrate Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce,’ we didn’t. But that’s what this is. It’s just a ghetto version of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.”

Stefon Diggs Attends Patriots Practice Amid Viral Boat Video Controversy
Stefon Diggs made an appearance at the New England Patriots’ voluntary offseason practice, drawing attention after a viral video surfaced showing him handing out a mysterious pink substance on a boat. The wide receiver, who signed a three-year contract with the Patriots earlier this offseason, has been in the spotlight due to his off-field activities.

Diggs has been seen at multiple events with hip-hop star Cardi B, including the Met Gala and an NBA playoff game between the Boston Celtics and New York Knicks. While his attendance at practice is not unusual for a veteran player, the timing of his arrival has fueled speculation about his commitment to the team.
Despite the controversy, Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel acknowledged the situation but did not provide further details regarding the video. The team has two remaining optional workouts before their mandatory minicamp begins on June 9, where Diggs is expected to participate.

While Diggs’ off-field activities have sparked debate, his ability to contribute on the field remains a priority for the Patriots. Fans are eager to see how he integrates into the team’s system alongside rookie quarterback Drake Maye. With the season approaching, Stefon Diggs will need to prove that he can stay focused and deliver strong performances.
