Taylor Swift and the NFL have been intertwined for a few years now ever since she started dating star tight end Travis Kelce. That relationship quickly turned into one of the most followed celebrity couples in the country.
However, there has been one wild rumor floating around that Swift has finally put to bed.
During a live television interview, Taylor Swift denied a huge NFL claim

When the NFL approached Taylor Swift about the Super Bowl 60 halftime show, rumors circulated that she turned it down:
Following the announcement that Bad Bunny would be game’s next performer, Swift attempted to clear up the whole situation during her latest appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
While some reports claimed that Swift’s team was against the league’s monetary practices when it comes to it’s Super Bowl halftime performers, “The Life of a Showgirl” singer said that right now it’s more about supporting her three-time champion, soon-to-be husband Travis Kelce.
“JAY-Z has always been very good to me,” Swift explained, referring to the rapper’s Roc Nation, which serves as the NFL’s live music strategist for the big game. “Our teams are really close. They sometimes will call and say, ‘How does she feel about [the Super Bowl]?’ And that’s not an official offer or a conference room conversation. … We’re always able to tell him the truth, which is that I am in love with a guy who does that sport on that actual field.”

“The whole season I am locked in on what that man is doing on the field,” Swift continued. “Can you imagine if he’s out there every single week putting his life on the line, doing this very dangerous, very high-pressure, high-intensity sport, and I’m like, ‘I wonder what my choreo should be? I think we should do two verses of ‘Shake it Off’ into ‘Blank Space’ into ‘Cruel Summer’ would be great.’”

While it sounds like Taylor probably won’t entertain doing the Super Bowl until Kelce is retired, the NFL will now turn to one of the most popular acts both in America and abroad — Bad Bunny.
The Puerto Rican rapper and singer has seen incredible success since first breaking into the mainstream with feature placements on hit songs like “I Like It” with Cardi B and J Balvin and after teaming up with Drake on “Mia” back in 2018.
His latest album “DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS” was both a commercial and critical success and his recent residency in his native Puerto Rico has also been one of the most talked about music topics of the year.
While his announcement drew some negative reactions from the more xenophobic and bigoted pockets of the internet, the man can certainly put on a show — no matter what language its in.
