Travis Kelce was on cloud nine when he learnt that SNL diva Maya Rudolph approved of his SNL hosting back in 2023. Rudolph recently made an appearance on Kylie Kelce’s ‘Not Gonna Lie’ podcast, where she admitted that she loved it whenever athletes hosted Saturday Night Live.
Kelce got his chance to do so a couple of years back, and the response was pretty positive. However, the tight end later revealed that not all parts of his preparation went easily. Apparently, Kelce struggled with the table reading and called it the most difficult part of it all. Still, it seems like Kelce did a pretty fantastic job with his SNL hosting and happily commented on ‘Not Gonna Lie’s Instagram page.
“My favorite, favorite host, whenever they were on SNL, were always professional athletes, always.” Maya Rudolph said to Kylie Kelce as shared by Not Gonna Lie’s Instagram.
“I’m biased, but I do think that my brother-in-law, Travis, did an outstanding job when he hosted” Kylie Kelce said.
“Holy sh*t, Maya saw my snl?! (stunned emoji, face with peeking eye emoji) what is life!!?! She’s a snl legend! Thanks Ky!!!” Travis Kelce commented on Not Gonna Lie’s Instagram post.
While Travis Kelce has proven himself to be a delight off the field, the tight end seems to have lost his mojo on the field. Kelce struggled with his numbers in the previous NFL campaign and seems to be struggling this time as well. Kelce revealed after the last season that he was unable to perform as a result of all the media scrutiny surrounding his relationship with Taylor Swift. However, as time goes on
, the tight end seems to be continuing to struggle with his performance.
Travis Kelce Celebrates Raiders Win With Taylor Swift At 1587 Prime
On another note, Travis Kelce happily celebrated his team winning against the Raiders this weekend by taking his fiancée, Taylor Swift on a date to 1587 Prime. Kelce co-owns the steakhouse in Kansas City with QB Patrick Mahomes, and the restaurant opened to the public last month.
Ever since the restaurant opened, Kelce and Swift have made many stops there. Most recently, a viral video shows Kelce greeting the crowd at the restaurant while his fiancée walks comfortably in the back like she owns the place. 1587 Prime is meant to be a tribute by the players to the people of Kansas City for all the support and cheer they have brought the Chiefs all these years.
