Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs tight end, is hoping to continue his romance with pop singer Taylor Swift under the radar, as per a report by US Weekly. According to the report, Kelce blames the constant media attention on his relationship with Swift for his terrible performance in the 2024 NFL season.
Despite being one of the most looked-up-to players in the Kansas City Chiefs, the 35-year-old tight end only managed 97 receptions for 823 yards, scoring three touchdowns. In fact, the 2024 NFL season turned out to be one of the worst performances in Kelce’s career.
“Taylor and Travis have learned that so much attention on their relationship is not the best thing. Travis wants to take (a breather) from the public eye. He was working too much last year, and he didn’t play as well as he wanted. He wants to have a good season and not have the focus be on his relationship with Taylor,” an anonymous source told US Weekly about Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s relationship.

Travis Kelce has been playing for the Kansas City Chiefs since 2013 after being selected as the 63rd pick in the third round of the NFL draft. Before stepping foot into the league, Kelce played college football for the Cincinnati Bearcats from 2008 to 2012. With the Chiefs, Kelce has managed to win the Super Bowl thrice and was named to the First-Team All-Pro four times.

Uncle Travis has still not visited his niece in person, it looks like, and saw her for the first time in the brand new episode of the ‘New Heights’ podcast that he co-hosts with his brother. On seeing ‘Finn’ for the very first time, Travis said, “Hey, little muffin.”
Jason Kelce and his wife Kylie Kelce met on Tinder and got married in 2018. The two have four daughters together, and share a close-knit bond with each other. While Kelce is busy with his ‘New Heights’ podcast after his retirement from the NFL, Kylie Kelce is continuing to work on her own podcast ‘Not Gonna Lie’.
While Travis Kelce is continuing his career with the Kansas City Chiefs, his brother, Jason Kelce actually played his entire career with the Philadelphia Eagles, who defeated the Chiefs in the recent Super Bowl.
