Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs tight end, seems pretty pleased with his girlfriend, Taylor Swift’s surprise performance at his Tight Ends University event. Kelce was not only seen rocking it out when Swift performed one of her most popular songs, ‘Shake It Off’, but also dropped a comment on the NFL’s official Instagram account, sharing a highlight from the event.
Fans who showed up to the event were not only treated to Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s very first red carpet, but also an impromptu show from the celebrity pop star. Swift chose a short black dress with spaghetti straps for her song and borrowed a guitar for an acoustic version of perhaps most famous song.
“Just a casual surprise performance at @te_university” NFL officials captioned their Instagram post, showing Taylor Swift rocking it out at the Tight Ends University event.
“Turn me up Tay Tay!!!” Travis Kelce commented on the NFL’s post of his girlfriend.
The Tight Ends University is co-founded by Kansas City Chiefs tight end, Travis Kelce, and San Francisco 49ers tight end, George Kittle. The event was co-founded with the aim of helping tight ends from all teams in the NFL and beyond, learn and collaborate with each other. This is the second edition of the TEU and was held at Brooklyn Bowl in Nashville.
While NFL fans were definitely sure on spotting Taylor Swift attending the event with her boyfriend Travis Kelce, it was clear that no one expected her performance. Fans were also treated to a romantic dance between Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift to a slowed version of her song ‘Shake It Off’.

Kelce Predicted To Retire After 2025 NFL Season
On another note, many NFL analysts are expecting Travis Kelce to hang up his cleats after the 2025 football season ends. Right after the Kansas City Chiefs lost miserably to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX, Kelce was predicted to announce his retirement soon, mainly because of his horrible stats in the season. However, the tight end seemed to change his mind and decided to play for the Chiefs.
Analysts and social media detectives who have been following Travis Kelce’s career and his high-profile relationship with pop star Taylor Swift feel that the tight end will announce his retirement from the NFL next year. Many also feel that Swift might do the same. Right after the Super Bowl loss, the couple sort of took a hiatus from the public spotlight to bring back the focus to their relationship.
