Travis Kelce has been one of the biggest names in the NFL for years now. His on field success with the Kansas City Chiefs coupled with his relationship with star Taylor Swift has created a vast fan base.
However, his future in the NFL is what most NFL fans are worried about, and that just got a massive update.
Breaking: Travis Kelce Makes Huge Career Decision Prior To 2025 Season, Taylor Swift Immediately Goes Viral

One of the most significant transactions in the Kansas City Chiefs offseason was the decision by star tight end Travis Kelce to return to the NFL for his 13th season:
The 35-year-old confirmed his decision to ESPN’s Pat McAfee, who read Kelce’s personal message to him aloud live on his “Pat McAfee Show” back on Feb. 27.
Getting Kelce back is a big win for the Chiefs, who desperately need a veteran, stabilizing presence on the field, given the questions surrounding their wide receiver room.
Rashee Rice, Marquise Brown, and Skyy Moore are coming off major injuries that forced them to miss most of last season.
Xavier Worthy had a solid rookie year, but there are still questions about whether or not he’s ready to step into a full-time role as a No. 1 or 2 wide receiver. Jalen Royals is just a rookie, and Juju Smith-Schuster has logged 30 or more catches just once in the last four seasons.
And with that much uncertainty surrounding the passing game, having a perennial 90-catch, 800-yard weapon like Kelce to rely on likely helps quarterback Patrick Mahomes sleep a little easier.
While speaking to reporters on Wednesday during mandatory minicamp, Kelce made it sound like he’s got plenty left in the tank, implying he could actually end up playing for multiple seasons beyond 2025.

“I got one year on this contract, I know that,” Kelce stated, via KHSB 41. “We’ll try and figure out something for next year. The Chiefs organization knows how much I love them, I can’t see myself playing anywhere else, so we’ll deal with that down the road when the time is right. I’m focused on winning a championship this year.”
While many expected Kelce to agonize over his decision to come back or ride off into the sunset with girlfriend Taylor Swift, the 10-time Pro Bowler divulged that it was actually an easy decision to make.
“I love football; I don’t think I really thought about it that much,” Kelce added. “My friends and family, and the team, and the guys and women in this building — I love coming into work every single day. It wasn’t a very tough [decision] for me.
“I know I’m getting older, but at the same time, I still feel like I got a lot that I can prove in this league. With that being said, it really wasn’t that hard of a decision for me.”
