Leanna Lenee, wife of NFL rookie Travis Hunter, recently opened up on social media about how her life has changed, and how she can no longer recognize who she was before.

In a video posted on social media, Leanna Lenee, the wife of NFL rookie Travis Hunter, opened up while crying about how her life has changed in the past six months.
“I wish I could go back and hug December me, because oh baby, God was about to change your heart in the most important and beautiful way. I don’t even recognize the girl anymore,” Lenee wrote.
As it turned out, Lenee was referring to her newfound faith in Christianity.
“The amount you can grown and develop in just 6 months of devoting your life to Jesus and getting away from the shackles of the world and social media is truly astounding. I wish the peace I found within Jesus on everyone who reads this. Your identity in him matters, not how people choose to perceive you.”

Hunter’s unique ability to play both wide receiver and cornerback allowed for an interesting perspective of versatility and with several mentions of Deion Sanders. Hunter was labelled as a ‘franchise-altering player’ by the Jaguars’ front office and the crowd erupted as Hunter celebrated with family and fiancée, Leanna Lenee at Lambeau Field.

Leanna’s reaction, however, sparked mixed responses online. While she gifted Hunter a gold Rolex before the draft and was present during his big moment, some fans criticized her for appearing reserved during the celebration. Videos showed Hunter hugging his family and dancing joyfully, but some viewers noted Leanna didn’t immediately join in.
Travis Hunter’s Dad Arrested in Florida
Travis Hunter’s father, Travis Hunter Sr., was arrested in Palm Beach County, Florida, after allegedly violating the terms of his probation. According to county records obtained by USA TODAY Sports, the incident occurred when Hunter Sr. was reportedly out of range of his electronic monitoring device for 11 minutes on the night of June 28.
This failure activated a “bracelet gone” alarm and prompted police to obtain an arrest warrant on July 10. Hunter Sr., 39, is currently serving a three-year probation sentence on charges involving guns and drugs from 2023, and he is currently subject to strict community control.

While Travis Hunter has been in the spotlight for his athletic achievements, this legal issue involving his father adds a layer of personal complexity to his transition into professional football.
