Travis Hunter is already making headlines before his NFL debut, and it’s not just because of his on-field potential. In a viral livestream moment, the Jacksonville Jaguars rookie gave popular streamer Kai Cenat a quick reality check when the latter tried to score free tickets.
“Let me ask him real quick,” Cenat said, speaking directly into the camera while turning toward Hunter. “I’m gonna go ahead and act out the gate. Free tickets this season. Free tickets this season. How we looking, my boy?”
Hunter didn’t miss a beat. “Y’all in Tony Parker’s house? Y’all talking about free tickets?” he replied, shaking his head with a laugh. “Alright, I’m selling them for $100.”

The moment quickly made rounds online because it showed another side of Hunter. He’s focused, confident, and not letting anyone take his rookie season lightly—even if it’s all jokes with Kai.
For Hunter, this year will be more than just proving he belongs. It’s a fresh start after a rollercoaster college career that turned him into one of the most hyped prospects in recent years. And while ticket prices may be up for negotiation, his work ethic isn’t.

Fans love a good joke. But they love a player who backs it up even more.
Trevor Lawrence Sees Something Special In Travis Hunter
It’s only been a short time since Travis Hunter joined the Jaguars, but franchise quarterback Trevor Lawrence is already impressed.
“Travis has been great. Just his work ethic, how he’s come in,” Lawrence said during a press conference last week. “He’s been one of the hardest-working guys we have. I think it’s commitment to learning the playbook and trying to learn the two systems.”
Hunter, a rare two-way player at Colorado under Deion Sanders, is now focused on carving out a role in Jacksonville. Whether he sticks to cornerback, gets snaps as a receiver, or pulls off both is still a question. But his dedication has caught the attention of the right people.

If anything, it shows that beyond the livestream jokes and viral clips, Hunter is showing up where it matters. And his QB has noticed.
