Bye weeks are upon us and weak rosters with only two or three reliable players are about to be exposed. It is never a bad time to see how you can improve your roster. You must look for players on your own roster who are overperforming, or maybe someone in your league has a soft spot for a particular player. Knowing your league is crucial in this game. Fantasy football trades are a catalyst in any successful season and you need to trade for these four players right now.
Ezekiel Elliott
This one seems doable since this player has been a disappointment in fantasy football. Making good fantasy football trades often means buying a player whose value is low. Ezekiel Elliott has received 60 percent of the carries and just half the targets of teammate Tony Pollard. Your opponent may view these players as interchangeable in your fantasy lineups but here’s the deal. Elliott is about to see positive touchdown regression. With the return of Dak Prescott and a soft schedule coming up (Detroit, Chicago), Zeke is going to eat. Prescott will challenge defenses enough to open lanes for Elliott. After he scores multiple touchdowns in the next two weeks, you won’t be able to acquire the player.
Rashod Bateman
Bateman managers have to be frustrated with their 5th-round investment. Bateman showed how efficient he can be back in weeks one and two when he put up 6-167-2. Since then he posted two duds and has missed a pair of games with an injury. It seems he will make his return this week and his end-of-season schedule is among the most favorable for wide receivers. If I had someone like Brandon Aiyuk or Christian Kirk, I would look to trade them for Bateman today.
Devin Singletary
I love to trade for players who are on their bye. If Singletary is on a team who is desperate for a win, go make an offer for the player. Singletary has always been an efficient runner but over the last four games, he has caught 18 passes. The schedule favors him down the stretch and you could be looking at a high-end RB2 with upside from here on out. He hasn’t done quite enough to secure a spot on everyone’s roster so go trade for him.
Tom Brady
Tom Brady is not a happy man right now. He was caught on camera “motivating” his offensive line to improve their performance on Sunday. He is coming off a dud performance against a depleted Steelers secondary but it is the perfect time to trade for the player. His wide receivers are getting healthy. We know with Mike Evans and Chris Godwin to know that positive regression is coming. Last year, the seven-time champion threw for 43 touchdowns.
The Buccaneers are still moving the ball and touchdowns are known to be a volatile statistic. He will have seven matchups down the stretch against bottom-half teams in points allowed to the quarterback position. If you have been streaming, you have to trade for Tom Brady. Warning: there is some explicit language in the tweet below.

What players are you trying to trade for this week? If you want to win your league you must avoid complacency. Plan for bye weeks and be sure to check on the bye weeks of your future opponents. You may be able to obtain a player who has already completed their bye. Play chess, not checkers!
