As the NFL season is nearing the halfway mark, the top teams of the league have been separating themselves from the rest. While there are many terrible teams this year, and teams have accumulated tons of injuries, there are clearly other teams that are way ahead of the league. Tom Brady knows a thing or two about the best teams in the league, as he was always quarterbacking one of them in his entire career.
He picked his top five teams up till this point, and it is almost certain that the Super Bowl champion will come from this list.
Tom Brady Has The Kansas City Chiefs At The Top

While it should come as no surprise, Tom has the two-time defending champions at the top of the league. Simply put, they have the best defense and best quarterback in the league, and that worked for Brady in his career. When Tom himself had a top-five defense in the NFL, he made it to the Super Bowl every year.
Usually having the top defense on one side, and the best quarterback on the other side leads to a Super Bowl Championship. There are almost no teams in the AFC that look like they can take the Chiefs down, but the other teams Brady has in his top five might be able to get it done.

It’s a solid lineup overall, though a few fans in the comments felt Brady didn’t give enough attention to the Washington Commanders, who are 6-2 and feature standout rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels.
The Texans’ spot on the list could also shift in a matter of hours as they get set for a Thursday Night Football matchup with the struggling New York Jets.
Meanwhile, the NFC North has transformed from being under the control of the Minnesota Vikings to a two-team battle between the Lions and Packers, who go head-to-head this Sunday.
At the moment, it really looks like only those top two teams have a chance to take home the ultimate prize this season in the Lions and Chiefs. Overall, it is very difficult to argue with any of these teams. Everyone knows though that this is when the season really starts, so for the next five weeks, maybe another legitimate contender will show themselves.
