Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders has yet to receive first-team reps in training camp before Wednesday’s practice. Kenny Pickett has been sidelined all week with a hamstring injury.

For now, Joe Flacco and rookie Dillon Gabriel also has gotten first team reps during training camp. Cleveland has one of the most intense quarterback battles during training camp this year. Did Sanders finally first-team reps on Wednesday?

On Wednesday, Browns quarterback Sanders was finally able to get reps against the first-team defense. This is a step in the right direction for him, but he has a long way to go in this quarterback battle for the Browns. It will be interesting to see if Cleveland will give him more first team reps on Thursday. This is what some Cleveland fans said on Twitter about him finally getting first team reps:

Day 7 of Browns training camp is a wrap. Here’s how all 3 QBs performed in team drills today.

It should also be noted that Shedeur did this with the 2’s and 3’s on offense against the 1’s on D. Context matters.

Shedeur is once again the most efficient QB on the roster. All that noise about not running with the 1’s is dying.

I see no change in sanders lol. He’s clearly the starting QB

BENCH FLACCO NOW! 3-7 WILL NOT GET IT DONE. Shedeur clearly is the starter !👍🏻🤡

Cleveland will look to increase Sanders reps with the first team offense and also against the first team defense. The Browns will need to get him more involved moving forward.
