The Dallas Cowboys are having a season that will be flushed down the toilet at season’s end, and even one of their former quarterbacks, Tony Romo, was probably not having the best time on Sunday.
The Cowboys hosted the Philadelphia Eagles on the CBS game of the week at 4:25, with Jim Nance and Romo calling it. Fans started to put up signs saying Romo should go in.

Dallas is starting backup quarterback Cooper Rush, with Dak Prescott injured. The team couldn’t find the endzone and lost 34-6.
Many Cowboys fans didn’t care about the game itself since they had no chance, but on Monday, the country will be celebrating Veterans Day, and Texas native and the former 43rd President of the United States, George W. Bush, and his wife, Laura, did the ceremonial coin toss.

Bush and his wife do a lot for many military members, and Nance said during the broadcast that the Bush family comes to the Cowboys game every year during Salute to Service Week.
Tony Romo Has Some Nice Things To Say About George Bush

Romo, who played quarterback for the Cowboys from 2004-2016, had to cross paths with Bush many times, stated during the game that George is “one of the great human beings you’ll ever meet.”

There has been a lot of pushback from fans for Romo’s comments due to things Bush did as President, but Romo is just speaking about the man he has met.
With politics being in a crazy period of time, the former Cowboys quarterback probably just wanted to say something nice about one of the country’s former leaders.
