The Buffalo Bills came into Pittsburgh Steelers territory and won the game by a final score of 26-7. With the win for Buffalo, they improved to 8-4 on the season and Pittsburgh dropped to 6-6 on the season.

Before the game was over, Steelers fans were chanting to fire head coach Mike Tomlin. After the game, Tomlin spoke to the media about what the fans said, and he mentioned that he didn’t blame them for chanting that. Pittsburgh fans continued to show their frustration on social media about it as well.
Pittsburgh Steelers Fans Want Mike Tomlin Fired After Loss Against the Buffalo Bills

Tomlin and his team are in danger of missing the playoffs and finishing with an under .500 record entirely. This team has not won a playoff game in quite some time. Steelers fans are sick of it and want change. This is what some Pittsburgh fans had to say on Twitter:
You guys ought to be embarrassed. Tomlin and Kahn need to go, enough is enough. #FireTomlin

‼️FIRE TOMLIN‼️
– Rid the organization of his culture & disciples (Cam Heyward, Teryl Austin, etc)
– Draft in Pittsburgh, New HC, fresh start
– If anyone will take 90 trade him
– Organization needs a reset so badly, long overdue.— BetJL (@BetJLogan) December 1, 2025

Mike Tomlin:
– 8 year playoff win draught.
– 62 games in a row without scoring more than 7 points in the 1st quarter. (How do you not even luck into more points)
– Zero coordinators hired away as head coaches.
– punts the ball on 4th and short
Fire. Him.— SportsFan (@SportsFanzzzz) December 1, 2025
I’ve never been more serious in my life. Good lord how much do you expect Steelers fans to take with literally NO change

Pittsburgh will next face the Baltimore Ravens (6-6 record) on the road. For now, Baltimore is in the lead in the AFC North. If the Steelers win, they will go back into first. If not, then time is running out on them for this season and Tomlin’s seat will even get hotter.
The Cincinnati Bengals (4-8 record) are still not out of it by any means. With that being said, Tomlin needs to get Pittsburgh to the playoffs and win a playoff game this year in order for him to keep his job. If not, there is a chance that the Steelers can very well move on from him this offseason.
