Tom Brady is retired from the NFL, right? Not so fast. While the seven-time Super Bowl champion has been adamant he is retired, a recent comment at the eMerge Americas conference has fans buzzing. The team he is most connected with is the Miami Dolphins and his comments added fuel to that fire.

Tom Brady To The Miami Dolphins?
At the conference, Brady was asked about an NFL return to the Dolphins. His answer left many surprised.
“I do have some friends on the Dolphins that I really like,” Brady said. “…I root for my friends to do well, and several of them play for Miami.”
He could have very easily come out and shut down the rumors but instead, he decided to add fuel to the fire. He apparently has some good friends that play for the Dolphins and he already roots for them. Brady didn’t exactly confirm he is coming back but the fact that he didn’t shut it down completely says something. Is this actually real or is Brady just messing with us?
Would This Make Sense?
In a way, yes it would. Tua Tagovailoa has some health concerns. After suffering three concussions last season, he is one hit away from possibly never playing football again. Everything has pointed toward him being fully healthy and ready to compete but head injuries are tricky. Having another quarterback, even a very old one, would possibly raise the ceiling for the already loaded team. The offense is full of playmakers and the defense is much improved. It probably isn’t realistic but it is fun to speculate.
Tom Brady to the Miami Dolphins will continue to be speculated probably throughout the season. This will gain even more traction if Tagovailoa goes out with an injury. Could Brady come in midseason and save the team? The NFL is never short on drama and this is another situation to watch for 2023.
