The college football regular season is in its final two weeks, and many teams are starting to look towards 2025; one of those schools is Michigan since they will not be playing in the college football playoffs this winter.

Michigan has been bad for most of the year, and much of that is due to terrible quarterback play. Moving forward, this seems to be fixed since the Wolverines flipped the number one quarterback in the 2025 class, Bryce Underwood, from LSU.
Underwood announced Thursday that he would commit to Michigan after reports that the NIL donors had offered him at least $12 million.
Money is a big reason Underwood decided not to stay committed to LSU, and another reason why he left came out on Friday afternoon.
Tom Brady Helped Get Underwood To Michigan
According to On3.com and CBS Sports, Tom Brady facedtimed Underwood and had multiple conversations over the past few weeks before changing his commitment.

Brady, a former Michigan player, is still doing magical work for his former college, and he might’ve done more landing Underwood than he ever did for the school when he was playing there in the late 90s.

Who knows how Underwood will do with the Wolverines and if he will be there for more than one season? If Michigan doesn’t turn the team around next season, there is a great chance the star player will look to transfer somewhere else and play for a program that knows how to win games.
