Tom Brady, retired NFL quarterback, recently bought a rare LeBron James rookie card from a winner in the recent Fanatics Games at the Fanatics Fest. This year, the fest held a competition among various participants called the Fanatics Games, which included eight challenges in all. The winner of the competition was Tom Brad,y and the second place went to UFC fighter Justin Gaethje.
Meanwhile, the third place went to Matt Dennish, a teacher from Pennsylvania. Dennish’s win was truly phenomenal, especially since he defeated many other athletes, including James Harden and even Eli Manning. For his third-place win, Dennish was awarded a LeBron James rookie card which is worth $250,000. Tom Brady, who is an avid card collector, immediately took the opportunity to buy the card off Dennish.
“I’d like to offer Matt $250,000 for that card … in cash right now,” Tom Brady said to Matt Dennish to which the teacher happily accepted.
“I didn’t know exactly what to do with a card of that value, so he made my job a little bit easier just talking it off my hands, so, I appreciate that,” Matt Dennish told NBC later on about his card deal with Tom Brady.

Tom Brady Was The Reason For Raiders Not Picking Sam Darnold
In other news, Tom Brady was recently revealed to be the reason why the Las Vegas Raiders did not go with quarterback Sam Darnold when he was a free agent. The Raiders were originally rumored to pick Darnold during the football offseason. However, the team soon looked the other way, and the quarterback ended up being selected by the Seattle Seahawks.

According to Michael Silver’s latest article in The Athletic, Tom Brady was definitely not in favor of Darnold coming to the Las Vegas Raiders. Brady purchased a minority ownership with the Las Vegas Raiders sometime back.

However, he is not only a minority owner but also is supposed to provide valuable advice and guidance to the team because of his expertise and experience. It still remains to be seen clearly as to why Tom Brady would not go with Sam Darnold as the future quarterback with the Raiders.
