It is not easy being a Cleveland Browns fan. They finished with a 3-14 record during the 2024 NFL season and the Browns are currently in the midst of a starting quarterback battle.
Cleveland currently has injuries at the quarterback position. With this being the case, the Browns signed free agent quarterback Tyler Huntley on Monday. Shedeur Sanders, Joe Flacco, Dillon Gabriel, and Kenny Pickett are also the other quarterbacks on Cleveland’s roster. Deshaun Watson is currently injured as well. Cleveland Browns Radio Talks About How Much Of a Mess This Quarterback Situation Currently Is
Anthony Lima and Ken Carman of 92.3 the Fan in Cleveland, Ohio had their thoughts about the Browns signing Huntley to the roster on Monday afternoon after the list of injuries that have come out at the quarterback position. Lima said about this current situation,
“This is a total mess. This is nonsensical what they have trotted out here in training camp.”
Well, this is an understatement of what has been going on in Cleveland training camp. The depth chart was also released on Monday. Flacco is ranked first, Pickett is ranked second, rookie Gabriel is ranked third, and rookie Sanders is ranked fourth. With Huntley now signed, where does he fit into the mix?
He may be playing in the preseason this weekend for the Browns with the other quarterback injuries on the roster. Well, Cleveland has a lot of quarterbacks on the roster and there are obviously more questions than answers to this quarterback competition right now.
