Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay suddenly passed away on May 21, 2025. He was a beloved member of the Colts community.

Jim Irsay speaks as Peyton Manning and Edgerrin James receive their Hall of Fame rings in 2021.

Before Irsay passed away, he said on his Twitter page, “Go PACERS. Good luck to Herb, the entire

@Pacers organization, and our city!” Well, Indiana has an insane amount of luck during these NBA playoffs. The Pacers once again rallied from 15 points down to beat the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 1 of the NBA Finals by a final score of 111-110. Tyrese Haliburton hit the game-winning shot with 0.3 seconds to go in regulation. This is not the first time this postseason this has happened.

Indianapolis Colts Fans Believe Jim Irsay Was Sacrificed For a Potential Pacers Championship

The Pacers this postseason no doubt have had insane black devil magic. They rallied in the final minute against the Milwaukee Bucks, the Cleveland Cavaliers, the New York Knicks, and now Oklahoma City. There are Colts fans and other people who believe that there is some black devil magic going on and something no doubt has been sacrificed for this Pacers playoff run. This is what some Colts fans said about this run:

Jim Irsay was a human sacrifice

    — Code E. Dangerously (@CPBITW316) June 6, 2025

they sacrificed jim irsay for the ship. 😭 https://t.co/wjuboBOmyt

That Jim Irsay blood sacrifice is working its magic

Jim Irsay sacrifice created the greatest magnetball ever

    — Justin (@jdabre11) June 6, 2025

The Pacers killed Jim Irsay in a blood sacrifice…it makes sense now

    — nap escobar (@sameolnap) June 6, 2025

This is all a bunch of conspiracies from the Colts fanbase and other people as well.  It is crazy for others to think that the Pacers sold Irsay’s soul for a potential NBA championship. If Indiana wins the NBA title in 2025, it would be the first title for the city since the Colts won the Super Bowl against the Chicago Bears during the 2006 NFL season.
