The new XFL owned by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Danny Garcia announced that the new XFL (with 8 Teams) will start play in February of 2023.
The Houston Team (not named at this time) will feature a familiar face and name on the sidelines when the season starts.
Wade Phillips (The son of Legendary Houston Oilers Coach Bum Phillips) will be the new Head Coach, which should excite die hard Houston Oilers fans and Houstonians alike!
(Wade) Phillips not only is a son of a Legendary Coach, and coaching with his father for 11 years, but also made a name for himself as a touted Defensive Coordinator and as a Head Coach with six teams in the NFL (3 those teams being an interim Head Coach)
