The Buffalo Bills have a 6-2 record this season in the NFL. Buffalo is currently the fifth seed in the AFC.

They try to make a trade at the NFL trade deadline. The Bills however didn’t make any moves at the NFL trade deadline on Tuesday. Buffalo’s general manager Brandon Beane spoke to the media on Wednesday about the trade deadline.
Buffalo Bills General Manager Brandon Beane Gets Brutally Honest About the NFL Trade Deadline

The Bills general manager spoke to the media on Wednesday about the NFL trade deadline. He had many different things to say about not making a trade. There was one thing that Beane said that holds true. He said,
“Got home at the end of the day and went, ‘damn that was a waste of time’ … the trade deadline is hard.”
Beane tried making some trades, but he understands that it takes two to tango. They were probably trying to trade for players like wide receiver Garrett Wilson on the New York Jets and wide receiver Jaylen Waddle on the Miami Dolphins, but they were probably unwilling to trade those guys to Buffalo because they are in the AFC East division.
The Bills were probably interested in trading for either wide receiver Deebo Samuel or linebacker Von Miller on the Washington Commanders, but no trade came to fruition there either. Buffalo understands that they have a Super Bowl caliber roster led by quarterback Josh Allen. Beane also wanted to be careful with making a bad trade and it is better to stand pat than make an implusive move.
