The Seattle Seahawks have a 12-3 record in the NFL this season and are currently the number one seed in the NFC. Seattle took down the Los Angeles Rams by a final score of 38-37 in overtime last Thursday.
The Seahawks need to beat the Carolina Panthers and the San Francisco 49ers to get the number one seed in the NFC. Seattle has a prime chance to get to the Super Bowl this season. They have a lot of talent on the roster. Mike MacDonald is a very good head coach in his second season and quarterback Sam Darnold has been up and down.
Seattle Seahawks Ranked No.1 In Latest NFL Power Rankings
The Seahawks are ranked the number one team in the latest NFL power rankings in the Athletic. Chad Graff and Josh Kendall wrote about it. They believe that one concern with this team is Darnold’s turnovers. Graff and Kendall said,
“Darnold made some amazing throws in Thursday’s huge win and has been really good this season. But he ranks second in the NFL in turnover percentage (3.8), trailing only J.J. McCarthy of the Vikings. The Seahawks have so much going for them, but Darnold needs to take care of the ball down the stretch.”
This team is very talented that they can overcome Darnold mistakes in a football game. They almost beat the Rams the first time when Darnold had four interceptions. He had two interceptions against Los Angeles but bounced back when he needed too. Seattle has very good special teams and defense. The offense has a lot of talent and his best target with the game on the line is wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba.
Seattle has such a loaded team. There is a good chance this team could represent the NFC in the Super Bowl as long as Darnold can limit his mistakes here.
