The Baltimore Ravens entering the 2025 NFL season have one of the most talented rosters in the NFL. Baltimore has a chance to get to the Super Bowl this season because of quarterback Lamar Jackson.

They have not been there since the 2012 season with Joe Flacco at quarterback and they beat the San Francisco 49ers. The Ravens have been knocking on the door to get there for quite some time, but they have not been able to knock it down just yet.

Mike Sando of the Athletic interviewed many different executives across the league about each AFC team entering the 2025 NFL season. Well, the Ravens are ranked as the number one team in the AFC by them entering the 2025 NFL season. Baltimore has a Super Bowl roster. Sando said about the Ravens,

“Four of the eight voters placed the Ravens atop their ballots, with Buffalo and Kansas City splitting the remaining four No. 1 votes.

“I feel like they were really the best team last year and are even hungrier now with the loss in the playoffs, not getting over the hump,” one voter said. “I think they’ll have a top-five defense, maybe even top-three. Last year, it took them a while after losing (coordinator Mike) Macdonald. They won’t have the Justin Tucker struggles, either.”

The Ravens were fifth in combined EPA on defense and special teams over their final nine games last season, after ranking 30th over the first eight. The offense ranked in the top three over both of those time frames.

“I’ll go Baltimore this year, because of the quarterback and then the overall roster,” said another exec who ranked the Ravens No. 1. “They have a good combination of young guys and veteran guys this year.””

Baltimore lost to the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Divisional round last season. The Ravens are no doubt one of the favorites to win the Super Bowl and the AFC this season. Baltimore is the favorite to win the AFC North for the third straight season. Head coach John Harbaugh has been around this team for a long time. This team has drafted well.

Will they finally be able to get to the Super Bowl this season with Jackson? That will be one of the biggest question marks as the 2025 NFL season approaches.
