When training camp began for the New York Jets last week, quarterback Justin Fields had to be carted off the field and many fans were bracing for the worst with him. Instead, Fields avoided major injury with this franchise, and this was a fortunate break for him and this franchise.

Well, Adam Schefter of ESPN reported on his Twitter page on Monday,
“Jets QB Justin Fields, who dislocated his toe last week, is practicing today in 11-on-11 drills.”
This is a great sign for New York entering the second week of training camp. With him being back practicing 11-on-11, it will be interesting to see how he will look with the first team offense after they signed him to a two-year deal this offseason.
NFL Fans React To New York Jets Quarterback Justin Fields Returning To Practice

A lot of NFL fans were excited to the Jets quarterback back on the practice field on Monday. This is what some of them had to say about it on Twitter:
Toe’s pointing east, but the man’s locked in. Respect.

Justin Fields projects as a top-10 fantasy quarterback for 2025, driven by his elite rushing ability and improving passing game.
Key 2025 projections:
Passing yards: 3,402 (QB28)
Passing touchdowns: 17.1 (QB28)
Interceptions: 11.9 (QB19)
Rushing yards: 815 (QB3)

When Fields was with the Pittsburgh Steelers last season, he completed 65.8% of his passes for 1,106 yards, five touchdowns, and one interception. He also rushed for 289 yards on 62 carries and five touchdowns, along with averaging 4.7 yards per carry.
If healthy, he should be able to put up better numbers than that. Fields was benched for Russell Wilson during the 2024 season for the Steelers. With him having a bigger role for the Jets in 2025 could be very interesting for him and this football team. New York has missed the playoffs for the last 14 seasons and Fields is looking to lead them to a playoff spot in 2025 as well.
