Week Zero-The Week that Was
There are storylines to be followed from Week Zero. First, how long will Scoot Frost remain as head coach of the Cornhuskers? The countdown clock for his dismissal most certainly has started, whether fans want to believe it or not.
North Carolina has found their replacement for the departed Sam Howell in legacy QB Drake Maye. Maye is the son of former Tar Heel QB Mark Maye (1984-1987).
Florida A&M traveled to Chapel Hill to play the Tar Heels and were seriously undermanned. Just prior to their departure for North Carolina, the Rattlers were notified that up to 25 players have been ruled ineligible for this season. FAMU was 9-3 last year. Let’s see how they navigate this season with a short-handed roster.
