It was the same old story for the Cleveland Browns on Sunday. They started off hot, going up 10-0 on the Las Vegas Raiders, then giving up 20 unanswered.
Cleveland would lose the game 20-16, putting them at a 1-3 record, which means their season is over, and October hasn’t even hit yet.
The Cleveland Browns Need To Turn To 2025
The Browns are a giant mess right now; nobody on the team can block or catch, and when quarterback Deshaun Watson does make big-time throws, which doesn’t happen often, they are either dropped and picked off or called back on a penalty.
Head coach Kevin Stefanski has lost total control of the team at the moment, and there is a chance he will never regain it.
The last three Browns games have started the same way: drives that lead to early scores, making the offense look great, and then the offense doing nothing for 40 minutes.
Cleveland has lost to two of the worst teams in the NFL against the Raiders and New York Giants, and their schedule will only get harder from here.
The only thing Cleveland can do is start to look forward to next season and see what they have with guys who will be around for the next handful of years.
The Browns have one of the oldest teams in the NFL. Since they traded away three first-round picks for Watson, they couldn’t draft young talent, and now it is coming back to bite them.
Cleveland will receive its first-round pick back in this upcoming draft, and it will have many position groups to choose from.
The Browns season will be a giant disaster the rest of the way, but at least draft season will be fun again in Cleveland.
