Sunday was another sad day for the Cleveland Browns. They fell to a record of 1-5 after losing to the Philadelphia Eagles 20-16.
The Brown’s season is over, and there is nothing anyone can do to save it. One of the biggest people at fault for the team’s struggles is quarterback Deshaun Watson.
Watson completed 16 of his 23 passes for 168 yards and couldn’t throw the ball in the endzone, and the only touchdown Cleveland scored all day was a blocked field goal that was returned for six points.
Watson has struggled in almost every game he has played all season, and fans have called for him to be benched. Still, head coach Kevin Stefanski has not shown any signs of wanting to sit the 29-year-old quarterback, and after Sunday’s loss, the Browns made a decision on Watson.
Cleveland Browns Make A Decision On Deshaun Watson
During Stefanski’s postgame press conference, he stated that he is sticking with Watson for next week’s home game against the Cincinnati Bengals, and there doesn’t seem to be any plans to bench him.

The Browns have to face reality and realize that Watson can’t play anymore, and the $230 million they gave him went to waste.
There are 52 other players in that locker room who also know that Watson can’t play any longer, and every time you put him on the field, the locker room loses hope.
Cleveland has almost no chance at making the playoffs, but Stefanski still owes it to his team to give them the best chance to win, and running out Watson each week doesn’t give them that chance.
