The Chicago Bears have a 10-4 record this season and have a big matchup this weekend against the Green Bay Packers (9-4-1 record). It was supposed to be the biggest story of the week for Chicago, but that did not turn out to be the case.

On Wednesday, Kevin Warren, the President/CEO of the Bears released a statement to fans about the latest update with the new stadium developments. They were looking at potential land in Arlington Heights, but there is a possibility that they are going to expand their search. The Bears are potentially looking at Northwest Indiana for a potential stadium. Chicago fans are going to be furious if the team moves out of the state of Illinois.
Indiana Governor Mike Braun Opens Up the Door For the Chicago Bears To Move From Illinois to Indiana

Indiana Governor Mike Braun retweeted a statement on his Twitter page about the Bears announcing a potential move maybe from Chicago to Northwest Indiana to find a new stadium. Braun said,
“The Chicago Bears recognize Indiana’s pro-business climate, and I am ready to work with them to build a new stadium in Northwest Indiana. This move would deliver a major economic boost, create jobs, and bring another premier NFL franchise to the Hoosier State. Let’s get it done.”
There are a lot of Chicago fans who believe that Illinois Governor JB Pritzker is trying his best to move the Bears out of the state altogether. There is no doubt that would leave a stain on his legacy. A lot of Bears fans do not want to see the team move to Northwest Indiana.
With that being said, Illinois is a deep blue state and Indiana is a deep red state. Politicians matter in these kind of situations. It is understandable why Bears fans want to blame Kevin Warren and ownership here as well. However, it’s the politicians that deserve the bigger blame. Braun is trying to pounce on a golden opportunity here and it would be a major Pritzker failure here.
