Will Texas Longhorns RB Bijan Robinson have redemption when the West Virginia Mountaineers are headed to Austin to take on the Texas Longhorns in a Big 12 Showdown? Who will get their first conference victory? The Mountaineers and the Longhorns are both 2-2 overall with an 0-1 conference records. It is early in conference play, but each team could use a conference win to get some momentum heading into October and November. West Virginia leads the series 6-5 over Texas and are 4-2 all-time in Austin. Bijan Robinson is going to even up the series this Saturday.
In Bijan We Trust
Longhorns are coming off of a stunning loss to The Texas Tech Red Raiders. They lost 37-34 in overtime after a fumble that led to a Red Raiders 28-yard field goal. Offensively, Texas should be able to score on the Mountaineers because they were able to put up 34 points on the road against a stout Texas Tech defense. They did so with Hudson Card leading the offense and Bijan Robinson running wild with 123 total yards and two touchdowns against Texas Tech last Saturday. Unfortunately, Robinson lost a fumble in overtime, and Texas Tech responded with a field goal for the win. It was a very deflating ending for the Longhorns, and it knocked them out of the AP College Top 25 rankings.
Robinson said he’s been walking around campus and the football facility carrying a football today because he doesn’t want to fumble again. He said teammates tried to knock it out and even a student on campus tried. He reports that he held onto the football all day. Sports Anchor Travis Recek post an interview with Robinson on how his teammates picked him up after the disappointing fumble. It is nice to see and hear about his teammates coming together to support him in an unfortunate event. He is a young man with a lot of talent and a bright future.

Redemption
Bijan Robinson and the Longhorns have lost some close games this season and the West Viriginia Mountaineers will be taking the brunt of this on Saturday. Robinson is a dynamic player and so far, this season, he has 67 rushing attempts for 412 yards and 7 touchdowns. West Virginia you are going to get steam rolled by this beast of a running back! Vegas has the Longhorns favored by 9.5 points and I believe this game will be a blow-out by a lot more for the Longhorns! Bijan Robinson will get his redemption! Hook’em Horns!
