On Monday night, the Ohio State Buckeyes won their third national championship in 25 years, making it the second straight season a team from the Big Ten has won.
Michigan was able to claim the title last season, and now their rival took it home this year. Even though the two schools hate each other, they can come together and troll the SEC.
For years, the SEC has dominated college football, but the last two seasons have been the exact opposite. Not a single team from the South played for the title the previous two years.
Usually, the SEC is the best conference in college football at the end of the season, but it seems that the Big Ten has taken over. Even the most prominent voice from the South thinks the SEC is a step behind.
Paul Finebaum Thinks The Big Ten Is On Top After Ohio State’s Win
SEC radio host Paul Finebaum appeared on ESPN’s morning show Get Up on Tuesday and said, “The Big Ten currently owns college football.”
“The Big Ten at the moment owns college football.”

It took a lot for Finebaum to praise the Big Ten, and he is totally correct. Ohio State beat two SEC schools, Tennessee and Texas, and last season, Michigan defeated Alabama to get them in the title game.
The SEC has a lot to figure out, and maybe next season, it will return to hosting the trophy, but right now, it’s the Big Ten’s turn.
