Texas Longhorns Quarterback Quinn Ewers Makes Controversial Donald Trump Statement (Report)

The Texas Longhorns got a huge win over the Clemson Tigers on Saturday.  The third ranked Longhorns scored 28 first half points and pulled away at the end 38-24.  On New Years Day they’ll take on the 12th ranked Arizona State Sun Devils.

Quarterback Quinn Ewers made a statement of his own prior to the game ever starting.

Texas Longhorns quarterback Quinn Ewers shows up to the game with a Trump tie clip

As one of the biggest games of his life approached, Ewers made his political support clear.

The junior quarterback dressed to impress to face Clemson Tigers in the first round of the College Football Playoff.

An elegant navy suit with white pinstripes, a red tie, and gold tie clip adorned Ewers’ look.  The clip, however, clearly had “Trump” engraved in it.
