Texas Longhorns quarterback Quinn Ewers was pulled for Arch Manning in the second quarter on Saturday night against the Georgia Bulldogs. Texas lost the game against Georgia 30-15. However, Ewers came back into game action for the second half and looked better.
In the loss, Ewers completed he only completed 58.1% of his passes for 211 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. Quinn Ewers will need to perform better this weekend on the road for the fifth-ranked Longhorns against the 25th-ranked Vanderbilt Commodores.
247 Sports Deletes False Instagram Report About Texas Longhorns Quarterback Quinn Ewers Sitting For the Rest Of the 2024 Season
On Monday, 247 Sports posted a photo on Instagram about Quinn Ewers sitting for the rest of the season to prepare for the 2025 NFL Draft. However, a source close to Ewers told on3sports.com that the post of him sitting for the rest of the season to prepare for the 2025 NFL Draft is not true.

No one is hacking a media company to make a post about the second best qb on a college team.

Some believe that Arch Manning is better than Ewers. However, Ewers practiced on Monday and is preparing for Saturday’s matchup against Vanderbilt. He is going to be under the microscope for the rest of the college football season. Ewers will need to improve his NFL Draft stock in a hurry. It would have been a massive mistake for him to leave a team that is in quest of a national title this season.
