    According to Andrew Holleran of The Spun;

    Prayers are pouring in after a former college football player was found dead in a parking garage.

    He was just 24 years.

    Tyler Martinez, a former college football player at State, was found dead over the weekend. He is believed to have been involved in a parking garage dispute. The former college football player was found dead in his apartment complex’s parking garage.

    From the report:

    Tyler Martinez, 24, was shot multiple times at the Mac 4460 apartments on South MacGregor Way at Calhoun Friday night.

    Isaac Robinson, 22, was charged with murder after police said he returned to the scene.

    Public records indicate both Martinez and Robinson live at the complex.

    Martinez played for four seasons at Texas State.

    On Monday, a man was charged in his death. Jasper Robinson, a 22-year-old college student, has been charged.

    According to documents, witnesses told police that shots were fired after a fight erupted between the two men, who both lived at the apartment complex.

    At one point, Martinez was on top of Robinson before a woman associated with Robinson allegedly went to a car and retrieved a gun before giving it to the suspect, documents said.

    Martinez then appeared to get off Robinson and walk away before he was shot three times in the torso, the witness said, according to court documents.

    Prayers are pouring in for Tyler Martinez’s family.

    “Tragic news,” one fan wrote.

    “Horrible news, RIP,” one fan added.

    “Really sad,” another fan added.

    Our thoughts are with his friends and family members following this difficult time.
