The Reese’s Senior Bowl is a post-season college football all-star game for NFL Draft prospects, primarily seniors, but also includes underclassmen, to showcase their abilities in front of scouts, assistant coaches, head coaches, and general managers from all 32 NFL teams. Practice begins on Tuesday and runs through Thursday. Finally, they will conclude with the all-star game between the National and American teams on Saturday, February 1, at 1:30 P.M. Highlighting one of the invitees is Texas A&M Aggies’ star senior interior defensive lineman Shemar Turner.
The Texas A&M Aggies senior defensive lineman battled a significant injury throughout the 2024 season

Shemar Turner suffered a stress fracture during training camp, but that didn’t deter him from playing this season. The medical staff inserted a rod in Turner to help with his stress fracture. He toughened it up, playing every regular season game, but he took a step back in production in his senior year, recording 36 tackles, six TFLs, and two sacks.
Unfortunately, the stress fracture never fully healed.
The Aggies star defensive lineman will withdraw from the Senior Bowl

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Shemar Turner will withdraw from the 2025 Reese’s Senior Bowl because his stress fracture never fully healed. As Rapoport points out, doctors have advised Turner to have no impact on his leg for the next three to four weeks so that his bone can heal fully. He plans to partake in interviews during the NFL Scouting Combine and work out at Texas A&M’s Pro Day.
Texas A&M DL Shemar Turner, a likely Top 50 pick, had to pull out of the Senior Bowl after learning that a stress fracture from camp, that needed a rod inserted into it, never fully healed, sources say.
