The Houston Texans are going into the 2025 off-season wanting to take the next step. After making it to the divisional round in back to back seasons, Houston is wanting to finally make a deep post-season run.
However, the start of the season will have to be without one of their best players.
Breaking: Texans Lose Star For Big Part Of 2025 Season (Report)

An additional surgery that could sideline Tank Dell for the whole 2025 season:
Tank Dell suffered a gruesome leg injury in the Texans’ Dec. 21 road loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. After being taken off the field, it was announced that Tell dislocated his knee, damaged his meniscus and suffered ACL, MCL and LCL tears.
According to Aaron Wilson of KPRC, Houston’s star pass-catcher is undergoing surgery today to repair his torn ACL. Dell previously underwent surgery on his LCL and MCL.
As noted by Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk, Tank Dell is “unlikely to be ready early in the 2025 season.” Recovery from a torn ACL after surgery usually takes 6-9 months, but it could take longer for Dell since he’s also recovering from a dislocated knee and multiple tears.
Unfortunately, Dell’s dazzling 2023 rookie season also ended abruptly when he suffered a fractured fibula in a game against the Denver Broncos. At the time of his injury, Dell had 47 catches for 709 yards and seven touchdowns.

This is obviously a huge blow to Houston’s team as they ramp up for the 2025 season. It will be difficult to replace what Dell does on the field. Here is a breakdown of his career numbers:
